Let’s Wrap Those Black Friday Gifts!

December 7, 2020 By Karen No Comments

Do you need gift wrapping ideas!

The packages are appearing at your front door from Black Friday shopping.

You have a fleeting relaxed feeling because you are checking off your gift list.

But, this fleeting moment starts to fade away as you realize each gift needs to be wrapped.

If you still need gift ideas, hop over to my Etsy.

Do you wrap gifts leisurely or do you hide them and wrap them all together?

How do you wrap your gifts?

Do you buy a couple of rolls of wrapping paper and a bag of bows and get the job done?

Or are you an overachiever when it comes to gift wrapping?

I have always loved wrapping gifts….you could say I am an overachiever.

There is a feeling of peace with scraps of paper everywhere and bits and ribbon pieces strewn all over the floor.

As time marched on and the kids got older, the wrapping became more elaborate. I started adding ornaments, embellishments and the bows became bigger and better.

I know wrapping presents is not for everyone

But for those of you who enjoy wrapping or need ideas….

Here are a few ideas that may spark your imagination.

It doesn’t matter what the gift is…. each gift receives its own creative moment. Here, I added an old photo of my brother and me in 1972. it’s sure to make him laugh.

Although my kids and husband think I’m over the top with the wrapping. I always say glitter makes everything better.

I know secretly…they love seeing all the presents wrapped in their glory, and it makes opening the gift a little sweeter…

Collect bits and bobs from the Dollar Tree and pick up decorative pics when they go on sale because they make fun accessories to gift wrap with.

Don’t forget to look out for kids wrapping paper.
Here I made a Christmas tree and cut it into sections and taped on the top of the package. Easy and really cute!

We should all do what we enjoy!

I enjoy the creative process of gift wrapping…. but you will never find me in the kitchen baking into the wee hours of the morning.

Love what you do!
